# 6 & WE ARE HALF WAY THERE

HELLO,
 HOW IS EVERYBODYS DAY GOING SO FAR?

WE ARE HALF WAY THROUGH THE CHALLENGE WITH # 6 DISHCLOTH.
I AM STILL USING MY BALLS OF YARN & I HAVE SO MUCH THAT WHEN I AM DONE WITH THIS CHALLENGE, I BET I WILL STILL HAVE SOME LEFT LOL

IN THE FUTURE MY HUBBY & I ARE MOVING TO VIRGINIA, SO I WAS TRYING TO COME UP WITH A DESIGN THAT WOULD REPRESENT THE SOUTH.
I DECIDED TO MAKE A FAN SHAPE LIKE THE SOUTHERN LADIES USE ON A HOT DAY.

I AM CALLING THIS ONE "THE SIMPLE LIFE"

SO HERE WE GO WITH THE DIRECTIONS: EASY

SMALL AMOUNT OF MAIN COLOR & VERY SMALL AMOUNT OF CONTRASTING COLOR

YES I USED MY RED HEART WORSTED WEIGHT YARN
I'M SORRY IF I SOUND LIKE A BROKEN RECORD LOL

CROCHET HOOK SIZE H

SC(SINGLE CROCHET), DC(DOUBLE CROCHET, CH( CHAIN) & CH 2(DC)

ROW 1- WITH MAIN COLOR CH 4 & THEN DO A DC IN 3 CH FROM HOOK & DC IN LAST (3)

ROW 2- CH 2, TURN DO A DC IN SAME STITCH & 2 DC ACROSS (6)

ROW 3- CH 2, TURN, REPEAT ROW 2 (12)

ROW 4- CH 2, TURN, REPEAT ROW 3 (12)

ROW 5- CH 2, TURN, REPEAT ROW 2(24)

ROW 6- CH 2, TURN, REPEAT ROW 3 (24)

ROW 7- CH 2, TURN REPEAT ROW 2 (48)

ROW 8 & 9- CH 2, TURN REPEAT ROW 3

EDGING

ROW 1- CH 1, TURN SC IN SAME STITCH AS CH 1 & THEN SC ACROSS TOP OF FAN TO CORNER WITH 2 SC IN THIS STITCH, CONTINUE WITH SC EVENLY DOWN SIDE TO BOTTOM.
DO 2 SC IN VERY BOTTOM, THEN CONTINUE WITH SC EVENLY UP THE OTHER SIDE, TO FIRST SC, SLIP STITCH IN FIRST SC & FASTEN OFF.

ROW 2- ATTACH CONTRASTING COLOR WITH A SLIP STITCH, CH 1, BUT DO NOT TURN.
SC IN SAME SC & EACH STITCH ACROSS TOP TO CORNER WITH 2 SC IN CORNER STITCH.  WORK SC EVENLY DOWN FIRST SIDE WITH 2 SC IN BOTTOM STITCH & SC EVENLY UP THE OTHER SIDE, SLIP STITCH IN FIRST STITCH

ROW 3- *CHAIN 3, SC IN SAME STITCH AS CH 3, SKIP 1 SC, CH 3 & REPEAT FROM * ACROSS TO LAST STITCH, CH 3, SC IN SAME SPACE & FASTEN OFF.

WEAVE IN LOOSE ENDS & VIOLA ALL DONE
