HERE IS # 5

HELLO AGAIN, I WAS WONDERING WHERE EVERYBODY HAS BEEN? I DIDN'T RECEIVE ANY COMMENTS FOR #4 DESIGN. HOPE Y'ALL ARE DOING WELL.

SO HERE IS WHAT I DESIGNED FOR TODAY'S DISHCLOTH CHALLENGE.

I AM CALLING IT THE COUNTRY STAR.
THIS CHALLENGE HAS BEEN GREAT FOR ME, BECAUSE I AM GETTING TO USE ALL THOSE BALLS OF YARN THAT HAVE BEEN SITTING IN MY BASKET FOR QUITE SOME TIME NOW.

WELL HERE WE GO WITH THE FREE DIRECTIONS TO MAKE THIS ONE.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

SMALL AMOUNTS OF YARN FOR MAIN COLOR & A VERY SMALL AMOUNT FOR CONTRASTING COLOR. OF COURSE I USED RED HEART WORSTED WEIGHT YARN, BUT OF COURSE YOU CAN USE A COTTON YARN, TOO.
CROCHET HOOK SIZE G
THIS IS ANOTHER EASY DESIGN
CH(CHAIN), SC(SINGLE CROCHET), DC(DOUBLE CROCHET), SHELL(3 DOUBLE CROCHETS)
COPYRIGHT BY DENISE G

ROW 1-, MAIN COLOR, CH 8 & SLIP STITCH IN FIRST CH TO FORM A CIRCLE

ROW 2-. CH 1, 8 SC IN CIRCLE, SLIP STITCH IN FIRST SC, (DO NOT TURN THROUGH OUT)

ROW 3- CH 1, 2 SC IN EACH STITCH AROUND, SLIP STITCH IN FIRST SC (16)

ROW4-, CH 1, REPEAT ROW 3 (32)

ROW 5-, CH 2, 2 DC IN SAME STITCH FIRST SHELL MADE, *SKIP 2 STITCHES, SHELL IN NEXT, REPEAT FROM* AROUND, SLIP STITCH IN TOP OF CH 2.

ROW 7- REPEAT ROW 6

EDGING

ROW 1- CH 1, SC IN EACH DC AROUND & 1 SC IN CH 3 SPACE, SLIP STITCH IN FIRST STITCH & FASTEN OFF.

ROW 2- ATTACH CONTRASTING COLOR WITH A SLIP STITCH, CH 1, *SC AROUND & SLIP STITCH IN FIRST SC.

ROW 3- CH 1 & REPEAT ROW 2 FROM * & FINISH OFF. WEAVE IN LOOSE ENDS

YOU WILL NOTICE THAT IS SHAPED WITH POINTS & IS NOT A COMPLETE CIRCLE SHAPE

HOPE YOU ENJOYED THIS ONE

I HOPE THAT YOUR DAY WAS A BLESSED & WONDERFUL ONE
